There is one common question every child is asked in the early primary years of their lives. What do you want to become when you get older? Oftentimes the answer comes from early childhood exposure. Whether it's a cartoon character in the form of an action hero or desire to be like a parent, it's always something they are familiar with. This can allude to the fact that visual arts play an important role in forming personal visions, that is why I strongly believe in creating a vision board. 

What is a vision board? 

A vision board may be defined as “a collage of pictures, text, and other items that represent and affirm one’s dreams and ambitions, created to help visualize and focus on one or more specific aspirations”. 

A vision board can be one of the most simple but powerful tools you can own in your life. So many celebrities have attributed their success to having a vision board, and the great thing about it is that you don't have to be a millionaire to have one. It can be created with just a few tools, supplies, and your imagination. It is a manifestation of your desired reality along with inspirational words that speak to you.  The concept of a vision board has been around for decades,  it has been tested and proven to be effective. 

Here are some benefits of a vision board:

Creating a vision board is a powerful way to help you achieve all that you desire in life. It can be created within a few hours, it is very low cost and can add tremendous value to your life. One important aspect to remember when you create your vision board to place it at a location where you can see it as often as possible. 

I created a vision board not so long ago and I have already begun to see  the manifestation of its power. My vision board is located in my bedroom and I have a digital version on my phone, this way I can look at it as often as possible and wherever I go.
